turn up the heat.

no, the title isn't suggestive.

anyway, this week im dropping all my school gym sessions.
WHY?

Because I'm frantically trying to finish up much of my revision for my upcoming FP exams. Its terrible. It's been such a long time since I had "homework" dished out to me. For the record, I am evil-y handing out homework and thinking of setting nasty questions for students' tests. Here I am, on the receiving end from elsewhere, desperately trying to finish up all that revision questions before this week's night classes. erps. speak of Karma. and Irony.

School reopens tomorrow. Time to do the jigs and juggling again!

reality hits

So tonight was a very eventful night, as usual, with my bunch of RV classmates. for 8/9 consecutive years, the same old stupid jokes crop up, but it'll always seem like totally new jokes and happenings to us. Its a wonderful feeling. Of course, life moves on, more stuff gets added in, but really, the past seems so well & alive around these people, its fantastic. Its really "living in History".

And everyone's flying off - SEP, IA, whatever. It all sounds very exciting (of coz, my life as it is is quite exciting too - assuming a pseudonym and hoping those concerned nv finds out. It's downright exciting).

In any case, my revision for my FP course is underway, finally. But not fast enough. Gotta pull up my socks man. Clear the exams, do it once, do it well.

p.s. I've heard disturbing things tonight. For better and for the worse.

another random post

before I forget:

"Success is not for a chosen few; rather,
Success is chosen by a few."
-Unknown

Quoted from my lecturer, Mr Daniel Tan.

I thought it made a lot of sense.
However, I have my reservations about the quote, for instance, because it doesn't seem to consider the issue of context.

My two cents.

On Luck and Working hard

"Some luck lies in not getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it, you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted, had you known."
