yup so that's my fully-functional SOHO (Small Office, Home Office - an acronym which debuted during the Internet Bubble age). yipeee. finally I can stay in hall for the whole week instead of checking in and out of it like a hotel.
(Note the pink fan blowing at my really hot lappie (literally). Obviously I 'koped' it from the house. In a household where there are 3 women and a dormant father, the idea of democracy just doesn't exist. Hence the pink fan.)

I think the Sunny Island Nation has a good chance of winning an Olympics Gold Medal in 2012. (Unfortunately, out table tennis team lost :( ) Or maybe in the upcoming F1 race held in the SIN. I reckon I'll bet all my money on SIN drivers. But who should represent SIN? the NUS shuttle bus drivers. Seriously.
I believe I deserve a Olympics medal too. Now, what happen was that in the course of lugging my Brother 7030-DCP Printer back to PGP, I happened to have to take one of these aforementioned buses. Now, sitting at the back of the Bus, when you have your hands and back full of a big bulky printer and lappie, staying rooted to your seat requires utmost concentration, strength, endurance, and balance. By the end of the Bus trip, I can safely say that the Bus driver was definitely a professional-F1-racer-turned-part-time-shuttle-bus-driver. My Olympian credentials had also been proven by then.

As I happily went home the other day, new-lappie-in-hand and generally upbeat about life, I stumbled upon a most entertaining conversation. Now, imagine a semi-full MRT train cabin, with two schoolgirls standing near one of the entrances. Imagine what their topic was! It wasn't as if I was eavesdropping; let's just say anyone within a 3m radius could hear perfectly well their discussion on ... erm... adult topics. haha. definitely spiced up my trip home immensely. I'm hoping to take the same MRT train home from now on.
I wonder how teenagers can be so liberal these days! I rmb nearly a decade ago, I once studied at a revered institution which went so far as to condemn BGR (Boy-Girl relationships; i.e. dating couples). In fact, I think the authorities relished the whole cat-and-mouse game of sniffing out all the star-crossed lovers in school, and indeed, was great at snuffing all of them out.
Times have changed.
