my 100th blog post

hmmm. that's fast. I think it's my 4th year with blogger already. Actually, I don't think it's my 100th post, since I've actually taken almost 3 years worth of posts down before resurrecting this blog.

In any case, Here's something interesting that I'll like to recount:

To cut the long story short, I was essentially charged $70 more than the advertising price (not that I was cheated, but that there was a discrepancy between the website and actual retail price). So I sent an email out, and that would be $50 of rebates. whew!

So, to all my dear friends out there:

The customer is always right! Consumer is king! Arise!

Anyway, here's another interesting article I would like to recommend:
http://www.getrichslowly.org/blog/2008/10/06/how-do-you-turn-passion-into-a-career-and-should-you/

Well, I was just thinking that what the article says does make sense. Then again, I think it a scary revelation: What happens when one day you've finally found something in your life that you really want to do, for the rest of your life, only to realise that in doing so, you get so sick and tired of it?

ponders.

New mp3 uploaded! "Chu Mo", by Chen Diya. (I still don't like Chen Wei Lian's version)

In any case, I stumbled upon this rather interesting MTV of Chu Mo:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viFSW6uY-aQ

Interestingly, the MTV opens with two girls frolicking around. I'm suspecting thy're lesbian. Anyway, so the story goes, along comes a guy who's smitten with one of the girls (who has asthma. IMHO, she's the chio-er one. But I digress). So the (lesbian?) counterpart felt kind of left out, and eventually one day, the couple (not the lesbian couple) goes on some excursion, and so happens that the asthma girl drops her bag with all her stuff, and the (lesbian?) friend secretly hides her inhaler (Ed: kudos to Sharon for supplying the word inhaler. lol). So in a rather chilling fashion, asthma girl suffers a relapse, couple fails to find the inhaler, girl faints, drama scene of rushing to hospital ensues (with all the rain and snow), girl dies, kind of sad.

My question is: isn't the conceptualizing a bit strange. I mean, in a rather twisted way it does fit the narrative, but... it's kind of strange.
