Yeah, I noticed I haven't posted anything substantial since the beginning of 2009 actually. Since the mid-term break and mid-terms and just over, I think I have some breathing space to write a little, in case my blog gets closed down :S.
The Semester has been ok so far. Not as good as I'll like it to be, but overall, I think I should be rather contended. It does help when you don't have need-to-be-read-essential-readings breathing down your neck; I can actually browse through the library's titles at a more leisurely pace these days (admittedly, for my papers). It also helps that I'm taking such broad history modules that allow me to explore otherwise-unknown shelves. Interesting gems here and there.
This semester also saw the MolEs at pgp a little more active. I think it's a continuation from the opening up from the end of last semester. At least living around here was not as bored as compared to when I first came. Then again, maybe this is the last Semester i'm staying already, so no complains. Anyway, the big bbq event for MolEs has just ended. That's something worth celebrating since it'll mean no more events to organise for a really long time (in other words, more time for work. ok, that sucks).
And that reminds me of my upcoming IPPT end of this month. sheesh. time to get back to some proper track training. haven't been there for more than a fortnight already. hmmm. At least I have no assignments due until three weeks later, so i reckon it'll be easy training while working on my papers. I wonder why they just can't change all the CAs to paper-writing; so much easier.
Ok, I think this is enough rambling for now. So till the next time!

p.s. I finally got to try the legendary Fong Seng yester-night (it's nothing fantastic actually), and the Indonesian Grill @ Engine today (it's great. And Ccheap). Ok I know I'm really slow. But hey, better late than never!

Edit: I thought this Facebook joke-quote of the day was pretty cool:
"Regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place."
